Wedding pantyhose- What are you wearing?? White, with flowers?? Anything??
I was going to wear plain ones but now I am not sure- I think it’s cute when the bride for the garter toss has white ones with designs on them. I haven’t been able to find a pair that I like and I don’t want thigh-highs.
What are you wearing and if you are doing white or something different- where did you get them from?

get off white they’ll look white but you won’t look like a nurse as you would wearing plain white. get sheer off white or pearl. Go to a dept store for a bigger selection and styles.

We will be having a summer wedding. So; I will not be wearing any… No point in fighting with them all day…

I may or may not wear them (but if I do, it will be thigh highs)…kinda doubtful I’ll wear them though – I’m getting married in August and I’m pretty good at destroying pantyhose rather quickly!

I wore a sheer pair that had a touch of pearly glimmer. Sorry I can’t remember where I found them. Try shopping online.

I wore plain white ones with a smallish design–but this was in the 80s, Bubs. I doubt I’d wear those today.

I’ve seen some gorgeous ones in major department stores though–look at evening hosery. I agree something more shimmery would look much nicer than white with a "wedding" design on them.

Although here’s some nice "lace" style pantyhose with rhinestones in them–they come in ivory.

I am not wearing any. That is just one more thing to have to remember and one more thing under your dress which has enough layers ( I am also having a beach wedding.) You probably cant get those really cute Lacey one at any adult novelty store or at Victoria Secret.

Good luck and best wishes to you.

I just wore Spanx under mine in order to keep the tummy and thighs more comfy and "tight". Panyhose would have looked terrible with the shoes. And no one will see hose. And your groom would rather take the garter off your bare leg.

Mine were an off white pair from JCPenney. I went for comfort more than style. If you’re wearing the traditional long dress nobody will see them. For the garter toss you only have to lift up your dress slighty.

There is no need to wear pantyhose. Many brides don’t even wear them anymore girl!

Since I’m wearing open toed shoes I won’t be wearing pantyhose. Try Nordstrom. They always have a great selection.

I didn’t wear any pantyhose. I had open toed shoes and I hate wearing them, they’re so uncomfortable. If you’re going to wear them, I think that ones with a design would be very cute.

I won’t be wearing any. The wedding will be in the middle of June in South Carolina so it would be torture under that huge dress. Didn’t you say you were doing a kind of vintage thing? Why not look for the kind with the seams in the back? Those look really sexy and classy and very vintage. I think I’ve even seen some that have little pearls attached to the seam.

I wore sheer ones. many brides wear white pantyhose, but my designer told me to go for sheer because white stockings could make your leg look bigger than it actually is, even if your are very slim (I’m a size 4). I went well with my choice, I think..

How about white fishnets with a seam up the back? It would look very retro and a teeny bit risque (without looking slutty). Maybe Frederick’s of Hollywood?

Honestly, I don’t think I’d wear ‘em at all if you have a full skirt and a big petticoat. It is an absolute bear going to the bathroom (God only knows how women in the 19th century did it!). Pantyhose means you’ll have to lift your giant, heavy skirts and then manipulate pantyhouse. I’d do a trial bathroom run in a pair of regular hose, your corset/longline bra, and your petticoat — if you can do it with ease, then go for it. If you struggle, don’t — it will be twice as heavy in the dress, and if you’re wearing a boned foundational garment, you won’t be able to bend as easily from the waist.

Good luck!!
